| I just bought a wonderful large 1950's stone "raised rancher" but the front door is around the back of the house. At the street you see the ground floor - and two enormous (12 ft each) sets of sliding glass patio doors separated by a stone column. I am getting ready to design landscaping. Is it better to divert people around to the back and up stone stairs - or to turn one of the sliders (into the family room) into a front entrance...??? |

| Why would someone put the front door in the back of the house? Do you live on a corner lot? Which door do you use to enter the house? Don't worry about 'curb-appeal" do what makes your life easy and beautiful. |
