I have 2 large dogs that have basically torn up my entire side yard to where no grass will grow back. I wanted to put down some decomposed granite and I need some help before I start doing so. The "run" is about 80 ft long and about 4ft wide. If looking at the run from the front yard, it slopes from front to back gradually, especially towards the end. I have a few questions that I need some help with:
1) How should I go about laying this down so its nice and neat?
2) Towards the end of the run, it slopes into my backyard so how can I contain the DG from spilling into grass?
3) What is the best method for doing this by myself? I know I need to dig up the soil first but what should I do after that?
4) Also, the run has a small/gradual slope from left to right so does it need to be perfeclty flat?

I really appreciate any help I can get on this. The more specific instructions/opinions, the better!
