| There are many areas of my backyard that I would love to hide- where the garbage cans are stored, where my husband stores his tall ladders for work - however we still need access to these areas. How do you camouflage these ugly areas of your yard, without making them difficult to get to? |

| The usual standard solutions; screen fences or hedges or informal borders. I usually store extension ladders at my small lot house in the side yard right up against the house; no one else can see them in the fenced 4 foot wide area. Trash cans here in California are also often enclosed behind a screen fence, or a built-in enclosure with doors at front and top if you are limited for space. If you have more room, evergreen hedges are cheaper if you don't need the screening to be immediate. |
