Hi All,
I live in Bay area and working on my front yard for last 5 ys..But still not satisfied.Nee your great ideas to improve this.
It is really sunny and I am planning for some shady tree now.My garderenr suggested Podocarpus towards the middle of the garden ,in the central of the house.
I bought some date palm trees to plan in front of the windows.(Blue circle in the picture for Podocarpus and Green circles for palm trees)
But still it is not filled.
Do you above ideas are good?
What are the other green plants you suggest to fill this garden?I removed all much, since it was looking bad,now I see lot of dirt.Is there a good covering plant?(ever green)
Any other suggestion?

Thanks ,

I think your dry creek could use more variety in rock size. Here's a nice example.
