My courtyard has colored concrete but it turned out very patchy. The

concrete was poured in December 2009, over a year ago.

I was wondering if there might be recommendations on how to address this problem.

The landscaper has said that the problem was not his fault and that he could fix the problem for an additional $2600 (to cover an area of 1000 sq ft). When I did not agree to the additional charge, he has since refused to return my calls, so I'm on my own to figure out how to resolve this.

Is this problem due to a defect in how the concrete was mixed (i.e from the supplier) or is this a problem in how the landscaper installed the concrete ?

Appreciate any advice that you can offer.
