If that was my wood pile I would be awful cold because I wouldn't be able to use any of it. Too good looking.

Hey welly, wanting to feel special? On the website the guy has stacked his wood pile so that it looks like a tree with some logs placed laterally. It is an example of turning the ordinary into the extraordinary. Vision, as you would say extends beyond sight, and that is indeed special.

It's sculpture, not a woodpile. Art for art's sake and all that. No one stacks wood nine feet high with any intention to use it. ;^)

The artist does beautiful work, rich with pattern and texture. I'd love to be able to touch it.
