So we recently moved into this house that we are renting and any lawn maintenance is ours to take care of. After mowing down the 3'+ grass and other things growing in the back yard we realized that there was a patch (ruffly 10'X20') of small blue stones that has overgrown with grass. Well mowing over the stones all the time is not an option, neither is getting rid of the stones. So we are trying to find a way to inexpensively and efficiently kill the grass. I'm willing to use chemicals if I have to but would prefer not to because we have 2 dogs that play in the yard on a daily bases. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
