Foundation design for northeast exposure

I need advice on plant combination for a front foundation. The front of my cape cod house has a northeast - more easterly - exposure. Porch is slightly right of center. The goal is a green and white garden - mostly about foliage. Acidic soil. There are two pyramid yews at the corners that must stay. For the rest of the foundation plants I'm considering blue princess holly for each side of the porch. 3 green velvet boxwood under the windows on each side of the porch - between the holly at the porch and the yew at the outside corner. 1 or 2 Mt. Airy Fothergilla, 1 or 2 Cayuga viburnum, all tucked at the front of the above evergreens. Plus some dark heuchera and alchemilla mollis along the front edge. I'm a new gardner and don't want to have to do this again! Is this a good combination? Other ideas?
