Huge Shrubs Gotta Go-Need Curb Appeal...HELP!!

Ok, so after being here for six years, we're finally getting around to removing these overgrown bushes. So what do I do with the empty space? Our huge white house really needs some curb appeal. We are open to moving the azaleas and hostas. Should we paint the porch, wicker furniture, or urns a contrasting color? I plant color in the urns and hang ferns in between columns. The house faces east, so after noon lots of shade due to size of house and large old pecan and holly trees. PLEEEEAAASSSEE Help! The home was built around 1890. I am a newbie, so I have to figure out how to upload pix here....thanks! :)

I haven't posted pics yet, but here are some instructions:

Good luck!

I use a Firefox add-on (BBCodeXtra) which automatically adds the correct codes to convert url's to links, and make text italic or bold or underlined. It can also post images (though I've only done that to fix other people's failed links -- and I haven't done it for so long that I've forgotten how).

For this site, you choose the third option in the drop-down menu (xhtmlXtra).

I believe there are similar programs for other browsers, but I have no idea what they are.
