Can somebody identify this ground cover plant? I dug it up from a much larger area and placed it where you see it in the picture.

looks like vinca minor. (I tried to grow in Atlanta areas but was never successful. It seemed to always get some type of fungus disease at the crown.)

I am in the Atl area near the airport. The stuff is growing on a lot near me and seems to be doing good. But, I won't waste my time trying to cultivate it if it is susceptible to fungus disease.

Thanks

There can be differences from place to place, so if you saw it doing well, what have you got to lose by giving it a shot?

Agreed, I will leave what is there alone and see how it does. However, I won't waste a lot of time planting more unless it seems to thrive in that spot.

My mother has it growing under trees in her back yard in Miss. I'll see what she calls it but it looks similar to Trachelospermum asiaticum (Asiatic Jasmine).

It grows great here in Missouri. I had lots of it at my last house, and my aunt has a lot too.
