The tall holly at the corner died during the winter last year (don't know why, except that it was exceptionally cold here for a while). Need a recommendation for something to replace it. Corner is the north-east corner of the house. Zone is 5b/6a (varies depending on which map I use). I would prefer to avoid another holly because the foundation plants are all hollies. Conifer or deciduous would be OK. Thanks!
