Belgian block along the sides of paved driveway

Hi,
Can someone please advise whether it makes sense to have belgian block on both sides of the paved driveway?

Think about it when you are climbing out of your car (door open)... think about it when you have 2 feet of snow... think about it for visitors coming to your house... think about it in dark as well as in daylight...

lucik77, are you trying to hold back dirt or landscaping which are a bit taller than the driveway?

If you simply want the Belgian block for its decorative effect, perhaps you could use stone or pavers set at the same level as the driveway.

Thank you for your feedback! Yes, we wanted to use the belgian block to hold back landscaping that's at a bit of a different level than the driveway.
We ended up installing the blocks and it looks nice. Thank you for your help!
