It would be best to add a picture that is taken from a CENTRAL position (or straight out from the front door) and shows some space at each end (like above.) Then, move in closer and show the portion of the house face that will be planted ... so we can see more detail and how hardscape is arranged.

Don't clutter up the front of it too much ....

I might argue that you've got enough shrubs in the front.

Those that you have will grow ... and you will have to end up pulling out even some of those.

What was it about the other shrubs that caused you to remove them? I thought it looked nice. The only thing I don't like is the bed going so far down the path.

The width of the beds are out of proportion to the size and height of the home. The beds are so narrow they look like a little mustache on a big face. Make them wider and you will have the space to plant something interesting.

I put too much plants around 2009. It wasn't organized. All the spireas became sickly.

The front was really nice around 2010-2011 but became a nightmare when they all grew. Wife didn't like it. She likes with space.
