Close-ups of dirt doesn't mean much. Back up with the camera and show the context. What is being landscaped and what is around it? Is there a building to take into account in the picture? What are your goals and objectives?

It would have been nice if your contractor removed that soil or raked it back. If you leave it and do have rain it may slip down the slope. That happens where we live often. When we bought our house there was a cinderblock wall as a terrace separator that I removed and had hauled away leaving a sharp slope behind. I raked that back and planted it out with ground covers to hold the soil in place. Though it was easy to do back then as the soil was not difficult to move. Your slope looks rather steep from the second photo in relation to the fence along the top > slope, hump, drop off sort of thing. How hard is it to mow the grass that is there?
