How close are those shrubs to the house? It's hard to tell, but they look too close to me. I don't like to do a bush closer than 4 feet, and the upright shrubs should be even further away.

And how close are they to each other?

What's the little tree clear out on the edge of the bed? It looks well-placed. Is that tree the reason for the huge mulched area - so it could be included in the mulch?

I could not agree more that the shrubs are planted too close to the house. You could pull them even farther out than I show below. Also think your bed line could be improved: don't plant to engulf the approach to the entrance; allow more space around the tree so it doesn't end up looking planted smack on the edge; increase depth of bed to allow for re-positioning of shrubs and for their growth. I think you could do below the window with only 2 boxwood ... and something colorful near the entrance.
