Are you thinking edible garden or otherwise? Delaware. Foreign to me, but I'm thinking it gets cold. So annuals or veggies that you plant in spring? I think Apple trees, and probably other fruits grow in your area too. You could stick in some dwarf trees and have flowers in spring, leaves all summer and fruit in fall.
