normal to have area where puddles collect on paver patio?

we are in the middle of finishing up the installation of a paver patio by a landscape company. They put in that sealing sand stuff (sorry I don't know the terminology) yesterday and it rained really hard last night. We noticed an area in the middle where a puddle had collected when the rain stopped. Is this normal to have? I understand it can't all be level but I guess I'm concerned that if one area is collecting a puddle from the get go, that area might get damaged over time? thanks for any insight.

Take some pictures and ask them about it.

If you paid for this, they should have made sure that it drains away from the center or any buildings. They should always check if things are level. Strange this happened day one. I'd be asking them too!

depends. Very slight puddling during/right after a rain, that quickly goes away, may be ok in some circumstances. Anything that stays for a significant amount of time, though, or is holding a good bit of water - problem. Can you post photos, both dry and holding water?
