mac user needs free landscape software

Greetings~

I need to find a 'free' download' for MAC ....landscape software. I use to have a program with 'windows' that was so neat......just take a photo and then drag in real photos. I miss that. And I dont want to pay big bucks for another program.

Maybe some tips on how to do this without a special program???

I'm sort of a novice when being creative with the computer....... :-)
