Alright from a plant mix this Gold Rush Redwood would look great. But if you are looking out from the yard towards the house I think the Gold colored tree will look funny with my cream colored deck and beige colored house.

Any thoughts on this? Right now I have a green tree shown to the right that is getting pulled. To the left is a purple maple so I don't know if another purple tree would look too blendy. The massing/repeating is done with the shrubs below (not shown).

This is the bet pic I have off hand but should give you an idea. The curves have been softened a bit.
