| I've got a pretty nice design going I think, but the way I've planted things, I've got a bit of a big space to the left and right corners of this bed.
In michigan, this is the south west side of our lot. The space I'm talking about is just to the right of the right hand knockoout rose, and just to the left of the left hand knockout rose. Right behind the weigelia. The other plants here are Karl Forrester, purple coneflowers, hinoki false cypress, kockouts, weigelia florida and coreopsis moonbeam. Let me know what you think. Also, any suggestions for what to put in front of the weigelia? I was thinking something like baby's breath, but I'm kinda new! Jon |

| Honestly, I don't think you have the room to plant much of anything, W. is a pretty fast growing plant and will fill that space quite a bit next year, and you've got the plants pretty tight in there now. |

| Agreed. I can imagine some sort of sprawling petunia in front of the weigelia. Something that disappears itself after time. |

| Ditto. What you perceive as extra space will disappear in short order. |
