| Aloha,
I have a pile of borate treated lumber (tagged) laying around and was wondering if I can use it to build some planter boxes for vegetables without any harmful leaching? I did some google searches on borate treated lumber but couldn't find anything that confirmed its safe use for vegetable growing. Thank you for your help. |

| Did you do a search on phytotoxicity and borate? Also try searching for an MSDS for sodium tetraborate. |
