Let's not yet think about how it's going to work down in the ground. To what do you intend to fasten the corrugated panels? They are not going to stand alone like the sheet steel in the picture. And does your scheme have it curved like that? I'm thinking you'll need some fence-post-like vertical members to attach the panels to, spaced every few feet. With the gauge you're using, the panels are going to be highly subject to damage. What forces will affect it?

My question is, how do I get it to stand up permanently?
A- welded pins extending down into footing.
Do I need a concrete footer and then pour concrete on
both sides (below the surface of the dirt)? I'm in zone 10/CA - we don't have much frost.
A- yes. we usually use a reinforced spread footing.
size and deign of footing is dependent on a variety of factors such as the active and passive pressures and loads , soils and type and height of materials.
