Melissa, are you aware that it is against Garden Web policy to promote or advertise your own business??

Are all of the bushes up over the windows? Are you planning to trim them back?

First: my primary concern is that the current plants that are there need to be either severely cut back or completely removed. They are reducing the amount of natural light that gets in.

Second: I am not seeing how something in that spot might screen the street, unless you are concerned about the back yard being screened.

My suggestion: Virburnum. They can be pruned to shape, grow thick (however they do drop leaves, but then the sun might help in the morning during the winter), they have berries for the birds and are super-easy to care for. There are several varieties, do some research about how tall they get to be. Ask your local garden center if they stock them in the spring and get one planted in April.
