I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think your chimney is beautiful!
I would frame the bottom third in some manner.

A photo showing the full width of the house would be helpful.

In the context of the entire house -- not merely a narrow photo centered on the chimney and showing little else -- I assume the chimney looks less out-of-proportion.

The metal wreath was not a bad idea, but is way too small (and too low) to do the job.
