Living sculpture exhibit in Montreal

Hi! Havent been around this forum for a while, but I recently visited the Montreal Botanical Garden where they are having an incredible exhibit this summer. Its called Mosaicultures- I think I will just let the pictures speak for themselves.

(This exhibit only goes until the end of September, but the Montreal Garden is worth a visit at any time - its great)

Yes ... thanks for sharing. Those are incredible sculptures. If you have any information about how those structures are put together and maintained ... and what types of plants are being used, some of us would love to hear about that, too. It looks like a lot of work to create and to keep up with.

See the video at the link below re the current exhibit. The MBG has hosted several shows like this including the 1980 Floralies Internationales - the site of which is now a park - see

I left Montreal in 1980 so I saw the Floralies but have not been back for the others, I'm sorry to say :-) MBG is a great place, well worth a visit if you head north some day!

Thanks woody, I was going to post that video - the only info I have been able to find about making them. in terms of care - there was an army of gardeners pruning trimming replacing while we were there.
