Our garden club is interested in taking an alley way in our town and making it a useable attractive space. Right now it is a blank canvas and a fairly wide area.
Thinking it might be nice to have tables, chairs, plants.
Any ideas on how to provide shade beyond table umbrellas?
Also have thought it would be good if it could be a multiple use area.....set up for small farmer's market, art walk, etc.
We have no funds for professional plan so looking for pictures of what has been done in other towns or if there is a civic minded designer out there who would like to help.
