Cultured stone veneer for landscape edge

I have a pile of used stone veneer that I layed yesterday as a landscape edge. First I dug a trench at and angle, layed left over roofing, sand, pavers at an angle then swept in locking sand. I'm curious how long this will last. Any thoughts? The only thing this cost was 11.00 buck for the locking sand and an afternoon of my time.
