I need help choosing foundations plantings around my house. But to start I don't know what to plant in this long narrow raised border? it drains fast and i don't think there is enough room for shrubs. it's 23ft long x 2-1/2ft deep x 1-1/2ft high from ground to top of deck.....help! (trying to load a photo but it's not working)

I suggest a small tree (like common lilac, burning bush, etc.) standing in a mass of hybrid daylilies.

netting trellises hung with xmas tree light thingees on the gutter ... and annual climbing vines.. like morning glory etc ...

so you can rip the whole thing down and throw it away.. every fall ...

you might want to ask in the perennial and annual forums also ...

this is more of a plant issue.. the design is already set..

Here is a link that might be useful: netting something like this

You can't. Once on the net, always on the net.

I think you can open the edit on the upper right hand corner near 'clippings' and either delete or edit the post to say 'deleted' or maybe leave it blank.
