Nice job, nice outcome (dog is nice touch too...). You got moxy to carry all those materials through your place. Wouldn't want to get in the way of your next project :-)

LOL! That was actually an unforseen mistake. I really didn't 'think' (big mistake!) about the work it would take lugging all that stuff (gravel, pavers etc) when I was shopping. I guess I just assumed I was a Superwoman! It wasn't until the van pulled up to the corner that I realized what I was in for, and even then I miscalculated lol. Carrying it from the rented van to the apt was absolutely horrible!! If I had to do it again I would pay for in home delivery or hired someone. Once the stuff was inside the apt it wasn't bad, b/c I could carry out a couple pieces a day out to the yard.
There is a small parking lot right next door to me that would have made it 10x easier, but my neighbor (new owner grumpy old lady) made it sooo difficult to use the access when the concrete was being laid (she expected the workers to wheel barrel the concrete through my apt!), that I knew better than to ask for access again. Not to mention I discovered (and took back) a couple feet of property lol.
