RE: how to ship cuttings

It depends on what the cuttings are. Some I just wrap the end with moistened paper then cover that with plastic wrap to retain the moisture. Others the ends are wrapped in moist paper and the entire cutting is sealed in a baggie and others are sent with nothing on the stem and allowed to remian dry. I wrap all cuttings that aren't bagged in a final wrap of newspaper and fill in the open spaces in the box with something like bubble wrap, peanuts or crumpled paper. Sometimes I'll also tape the cuttings to the inside of the box to keep them from bouncing around but I still fill the open spaces with something.
