| I've just found out that my kitty has cancer and I will be spending the weekend with him before putting him down on Monday. I will touch base with all of you on Tuesday. Thank you for understanding.

| Diana, I am so sorry that you have to go through this. When I worked as a veterinary nurse an elderly woman and her young grandson came in with her cat, we had to put him down, he had cancer. She was sobbing and asked to no one in particular, "why doesn't God make the lifespan of our animals the same as ours?" and out of the mouth of babes,, this little boy said "Gramma, thats cuz there are so many animals that need homes." I will never forget that, and when I have had to make that decision for my pets I remember that and it comforts me,, a little. ((hug)) Kathy |
