 o
the most odd experience

I just had the most odd experience, that I've had in years here on GW. I've been a member for a very long time.
I had a guy email me, and in the topic was ' looks like we should trade'...
Normally I don't reply to people emailing me up and out of the blue, but I did..
I took a look at his list, and saw a few things I would be interested in, so I email him back and I said 'what are you interested in from my list?'
I get this email that says 'I can't find you on Gardenweb'.
So I replied to him, 'you can't find me but you emailed me wanting to trade ?'
Then I get a new email from him, and the topic of the email changed to 'Looks like we shouldn't trade'
The email calls me rude and impatient and says to me that I have just missed out on a great trade.

I'm like wow...I am so glad I did not trade with this guy, and he really needs to change his attitude if he wants to hang around GW and do some trading.

occassionaly I can't find someone in members search but it's a computer or GW glitch and no reason to be rude. Looks like you dodge a bullet.

He contacted me first, up and out of the blue, so he HAD to know who I was...
I am seeing him all over GW, and he comes across as extremely rude in every post he makes, so time will tell.
Thanks !

I think he may have contacted me also. Maybe he's new. His mannerism is kind of brusque.

He might be new, but he comes across like a bulldozer, and there was no need for him to call me rude ya know ?

Yeah, he didn't call me rude, but he sounded so impatient because I didn't jump at the chance to trade with him. He didn't have what I had expressed interest in.

Keeps that up and he'll soon find no one to even respond to his post.
