shipping pennywort??

I shipped some priority mail and it arrived 6 days later dead, whats the best way to ship something so small???

Did 'actual' Delivery Confirmation actually show it had been 6 days, or is that what the receiving member told you? I don't find the trade post on the forum...did someone maybe cold email you about trading or vice versa? Hmmm...

Where are you located? Where did you mail it to? How did you package the plants? ...tightly wrapping the roots only with plenty of moisture?

When trading plants I usually try to consider what I am sending (rugged like an iris or daylily) or something much less rugged. With the much warmer than usual temperatures in so much of the country, there are some things I maybe wouldn't consider even trading/sending now...like cuttings of about anything other than a big sedum.

I prefer sending on a Mon or Sat, since I've been told the mail 'does travel' even on Sun. Mailing those 2 days is the best assurance that it won't get stuck in a PO on Sun waiting to be delivered on Mon.
