Plant Indentification.......................................

I saw this plant at the Cape Cod (Massachusetts) Orchid Show in January. I was able to get the name of the displayer, but he evidently does not wish to tell me the name or sell me a plant. The plant had "runners" from the main plant with bunches of leaves at the end of the runners.
The main plant had leaves just like those at the end of the runners. The leaves looked a great deal like a coleus leaf.
The leaves had a very dark (almost black, it could have been a VERY dark green) stripe around the edge, and down the middle of the leaf. Between these dark areas was a light green. There were no flowers showing. I have been told that there is a possibility it was a coleus plant and that it came from South America. Any assistance in identifying this plant would be very much appreciated. A source for the purchase of this plant would be of great help. THANK YOU.
