Help with my Hibiscus Trionum l

I have a hibiscus Trionum l, I hope I'm spelling it correctly, that has only bloomed once. It has lots of buds on it, but it never blooms and the pods produce seeds. I've never seen anything like it. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Maybe I've got a freak plant! lol, anyway I'm saving the seeds and I hope they're viable. Thanks for any info anyone can offer. Thanks, Joel.

Believe it or not, the flowers probably are open so briefly that you rarely see them. The plant is known as the "flower of an hour" for that reason. I have one as well and I've only noticed flowers open a couple times. They are actually open for a few hours, I think, and I believe typically in the morning.
