State and Zone info behind members names

Does anyone besides me like to see where a trader is from, and their ZONE when replying to a post?

I pass on so many because of not knowing where they are, and not wanting to initiate anything, not knowing.

With the heat of the hotter months, I prefer to not trade with someone on the far side of the country.

When trading for some things, I'd prefer trading with someone in my zone, or a colder zone.

I prefer to trade with folks that are within mail zones 1, 2 or 3, and have an idea how far that is.

Does anyone else besides me use the state and zone info when making a decision about responding to a post?

Is it just me?

Sue...who does know though that there are great traders all across the country.

Yes. I definitely try to trade w/in the Midwest(ish) if at all possible. It helps to know that I'll get hardy and acclimated plants. Also, s&h is cheaper!

I like to see the state and zn, just to know where they are from.

I agree. Almost wish it would be mandatory! And then to click on their page, I get frustrated if the zone or state is not even listed there.

If you're shipping far away, ship w/the flat rate boxes.. saves lots of cash!! I have sent many boxes to a long time trader w/me to FL. for 1/2 the cost.
