Banana Bragging!

Yesterday I ate some ripe organic bananas from the tree in our yard, MS z 8. "They" say it is not possible. The bananas are good size, kinda peachy pink and yummy!

I believe this was possible because I do not cut the trunks down at frost like most Southerners do. In the Spring the first leaves came out about 8' tall.

RE: Banana Bragging!

Lucky you. I've always wanted to grow bananas that would produce and lemon trees too. We had them when we lived on the coast in Texas about 30 miles from Galveston.
