I have Anna Hardy Kiwis from which I can take cuttings. The plants are shown to the left of this picture. I plan on pruning them in February so I will havw loads of hardwood cuttings. It is my understanding that it is difficult to rood hardwood cuttings. I tried using water. I had 12 cuttings and only one rooted after about 4 months. I am told that softwood (green) cuttings for hardy kiwis are the way to go, but I have not yet successfully rooted any. Are your Purple Tree Collards cuttings? I know nothing about them. If they are cuttings, how do you get them to root?
