| I am looking for clematis trades for spring. I have:
WILL GOODWIN
I also have 75-100 named daylilys to offer. I am only looking for named clematis at this time. Star of India was started from my mother plant. It's been growing for 2 years since I layered it off the mother plant. This plant is amazing, growing like a weed....grows through shrubs and is so easy to grow. It gets cut back 6" to the ground every year and comes back bigger and bigger each year. HF Young and Will Goodwin - I have both of these. I don't know which is which - they look very similar and i haven't been able figure out which is which. One I am trading the whole plant (large established 5yr old) as the spot is just not good for this plant. The other plant is small - was just rooted off the mother last year so it's about 1 1/2 yrs old. I would like to do all in one trade to save on postage. This will be a large size box with these 3 plants. |

| HI liliaceae, the only way i've been successful is in layering. I found a website that explains it better than I can. (note, i do not use a stake, rather I take a big rock and put on top of soil where i buried vine). I've rooted mine this way and will do more this year if i remember. |
Here is a link that might be useful: layering clematis
