Looking for a shorter growing Pecan Tree, Chesnuts, and English Walnuts.

I have sent out many Pecan seedlings for postage. I have decided the Pecans I have are way too tall. I am hoping to find a shorter version.

I am told Chesnuts would do well here in z 7/8.

I would love to try some English Walnuts. I traded for them years ago. One finally bloomed and it was ID'd as Winged Sumac! Why do people do that? I have 4 lovely Hazlenuts that I have seen pollen on. I only had a few empty nuts.
