Wanted: Itoh Peony Division

Just returned from the Northwest Flower and Garden show in Seattle. Wow, beautiful gardens. I fell in love with the Keiko Itoh peonies and am wondering if anyone out there is willing to offer a division. I have a fuschia peony tree (unnamed) division that I can offer up. The tree was dug up from an old farmstead. The owner said his mother planted it in the 1940s. It has been a beautiful specimen these past 20 years. Have lots of white, pink and red peonies available to trade. All unnnamed as they were divisions acquired from trades, old farmsteads, etc.

You might want to check the peony forum. The intersectionals are gorgeous and prices are going down. I only have Garden Treasure but it's not ready to divide.

I have iris, passion vine, white snow ball bush, kiwi vine, throneless black berry, and some others to trade. I would like to have some of your white or pink peonies if you are interested in my plants. My daughter is to wed 6/16/12 and wants peonies.

You would need to plant several dozen good size tubers and even then you likely wouldn't get enough flowers the first year to make an arrangement.

I agree with karyn1, and there's a good chance they wouldn't bloom this year. Thanks for the suggestion to head over to the peony forum.
