Wanted....brazos berries.....or other warm climate berries

When I was growing up in Texas, my father grew a type of blackberry he called 'brazos' berries. It wasn't the best berry, but he claimed he grew them because they were more tolerant to the Texas heat. I was hoping to find someone that could send me a few starts to try in a northern exposure here in AZ?

They were incredibly prolific and eventually crawled UNDER our house and came out on the other side, so I'm guessing anyone that has them will probably have enough to send a few.

I just returned from a lengthy trip overseas, so have nothing to trade at the moment, but I'd be happy to send postage or whatever.

Would also be interested to hear of anyone else's experiences growing berries in the Arizona heat? Is it even possible?

If you don't find any, here's a site that tells about them and they look pretty cheap.
