| Does anyone have starts or cuttings of these vines? they sound interesting and I thought I'd try them this year.

| Sharon I have both but have never attempted to root cuttings. The fruit has an interesting taste. I can't really describe it. You just kind of suck the arils, similar to the way you'd eat a passion fruit or a pomegranate, but it's not nearly as juicy as either of those. I grow it for it's ornamental value. The fruit is a plus but it's not a plant that I'd grow just for the fruit. I think you'd have more luck rooting them in the spring when they resume active growth but am not sure. |
