GARDENING GUIDES5 Invaluable Life Lessons From the Garden
The garden is both teacher and healer. Don't be afraid — dig in and reap the benefits
Full StoryWe recently moved into a house with many hostas in front and side yards. I have identified several massive clumps which seem to be of at least two, maybe three different varieties; at least the "eyes" coming out of the ground are different colors.
Sorry about the blurry photo-- it's the only one I have of the house with summer vegetation.
I am happy to trade hostas for:
- hellebores, any color
- rooted lilac or azalea cuttings (any color but yellow)
- peonies or dahlias
- herb and vegetable seeds (esp. parsley, basil, runner beans)
Just let me know what you have to trade! I am starting out with a blank slate for flower, fruit, vegetable garden and landscaping. We are on rocky, acidic soil, usually in partial shade.
This is my first trade on Gardenweb so please excuse any mistakes I may be making. Thank you!
[edited to remove horrible blurry photo]
