HAVE: Iris for Pond Plants

I have several named iris that I can trade for Pond Plants. I have a large tractor tire pond I set in at the bottom of the hillside in my back yard. I converted the hillside in to a rock garden three years ago to make the backyard more appealing. I put in a waterfall system with a small stream winding down the hill with small waterfalls leading down to the pond. I need pond plants that will not be very tall so it doesn't block the view of my other plants on the hillside.

Sorry i dont have any pond plants but, I would love to see pics its sounds pretty.

How tall is too tall? I have lots of pickerel weed, if you like.

lindamarie, I can send you photos of the iris to your email address if you want. I took pictures of the ones that are still blooming earlier today. Gibson Girl, Quote and Little Black Belt have already bloomed, so was unable to take their photos.

wispfox, The tallest plants in my rock garden are iris and a few daylily. So believe two feet above water level would be about the tallest I would want to go, at plants maturity.

No worries! And I think that pickerel weed isn't consistently two feet, and sometimes gets higher. So nevermind, and good luck!
