HAVE: named honeysuckle, clematis, bee balm plants

I will be moving in the next year and do not need anything for the outside, so I have been focusing on indoor plants. I'm kinda open for suggestions, I don't have a huge houseplants collection yet. Nothing that requires high light or is very, very fussy. For a plant trade I am fine receiving multiple cuttings or leaves depending on what it is. Check out my trade list.

I only ship via Priority with plants, I expect you to do the same. If you are new to GW and don't have many feedbacks, please don't take offense if I decline a trade.

I would love your clematis, and especially the Monarda. I have several wonderful HP. Begonias, Justica Pink & white,
several Jews, and a new plant for me, Asclepias curassavica.(Google says that, this can be a HP). I'm sure I have others,as my GH in the Winter is full.
Please let me know. Will be away tomorrow until late.
Thanks,
djune/Donna

Donna, just a thought: you might want to research the Monarda - I believe our humidity just melts it. I tried growing it twice and both times it succumbed to mildew and collapsed in my yard.

Clematis are iffy in my yard - don't grow so well - as a cool climate plant, they require more cold hours than we can give them.

Our climate is like no other - warm, damp and humid year-round, making those 'Northern' plants nearly a guaranteed loss when we try growing them.

Melissa, I received a private email from you with three ???.

June is a trading friend of mine and I don't apologize for suggesting that she make sure the plants you offered will grow in her zone, and letting her know of my personal experience with them, since she lives in the same climate/area as me.

With protection, you can grow any plant you want, if you have the room - not so in our climate. If you were offended with my 'butting in', you will just need to understand - we 'old' traders look out for each other.

With that being said, happy trading!

I don't mind you giving her advice, I just wish you had private messanger her instead of posting on my trade thread.

Melissa, I think you misunderstood my post - I wasn't giving June advice - she can grow just about any plant. I was only suggesting that she might want to look the plants up, so she didn't have the same experience I did with them, which was disappointment. It wasn't aimed at only June - it was for anyone in a hot, humid, tropical climate - these plants simply won't do well in southern climes.
