If anyone has a rooted cutting or a vanilla orchid that they are planning on trimming, I would be very grateful for it. I can send postage, and have probably hundreds of different heirloom and hybrid varieties of vegetable seeds I could throw in.

Hi Sstrouth, Welcome to Garden Web and The Plant Exchange! have probably hundreds of different heirloom and hybrid varieties of vegetable seeds Fyi...To maximize your chances of making a successful trade here, I'd suggest you set up your GW Member Trade List. You likely won't get any offers to trade for (probably) hundreds of different heirloom and hybrid varieties of vegetable seeds, and it would be to your advantage to actually list the seeds you have available. Posting the source, and year purchased is also good info to provide on a trade list. To set up your trade list, just go to the Member Pages link found in the green banner at the bottom of any page. hth. Sue...aka chemocurl and rbb

Plus, this is a very expensive plant, one that folks don't really want to cut on, in hopes that some day, it will bloom for them - I would have to say that folks who grow this Orchid wouldn't trade it for postage or seeds. EBay is your best bet for acquiring one of these plants.

People *generally* trade equal value plants for equal value plants or equal value seed for equal value seed.

Sorry guys, I will go somewhere else.

No offense intended. Just wanted to let you know because you probably won't be getting an offer. Ebay is probably the best place to find what you're looking for.
