have: Alyogyne hakeifollia, want: 'Issai' kiwi
This is not your ordinary Hibiscus.
I have a small rooted cutting of Alyogyne hakeifolia, formerly Hibiscus hakeifolia. You may be familiar with Alyogyne huegelii, the "blue Hibiscus". This plant, also from Australia, is radically different. The leaves are needle-like and the flowers are usually not completely open, so that they look superficially like Tulips in my opinion. Here are a couple pictures of my plant, which don't do the plant justice:

The photo from the Kartuz Nursery site is better:

The plant seems to be very hard to find in the U.S. The only place I am personally awsre that sells it at the moment is Kartuz and they are out of stock.
The hardiness of this plant is unclear to me (I've looked hard). I've seen zones 9/10.
The plant is pretty small and I would like to give it a couple weeks more before shipping it. I am looking for Actinidia arguta 'Issai' rooted or unrooted cuttings in exchange at the moment. I will be taking more cuttings soon, so in a couple months I may be interested in other exchanges.
