Wanted Rain

I'm looking for 4 to 5 hours of rain. Not a torrential downpour but the slow and steady kind. Lightning is fine. For trade I have heat, anywhere from 95 to 107 degrees. I have more of the 98 to 100 degrees though. I realize that shipping might be a bit much but maybe we can work out a deal.

RE: Wanted Rain

Moril, I can send you some rain. We have had soaking rains with thunder and lighting everyday for 2 weeks now. However you can keep the heat, we have an abundance of heat above 100 and humity to go with it between the storms. the Plants are loving it!! Would you like your rain bottled or straight out of the sky, bottled is much more expensive... Sending rain your way!!

We finally got a little rain. Not nearly enough, especially with the triple digit temps we've been having for a good part of the past month. At least it's keeping down the dust.....for now. Hope you get some much needed rain soon.

Finally! A nice steady rain on and off for most of the night. We could use a few more days but I'll take what I can get. Maybe I'll only have to water the container plants once today! lol

I had to post, wondered what you meant by "wanted rain".
DUH!

Sherri and Shirley,

I'll take whatever you got but not the high winds don't think the plants could handle it right now.

RE: Wanted Rain

How about 1ll yesterday, and 108 degrees today. TX has been
cooked. It has been over 36 days that we have had no rain.
Let's pray that God will send rain soon.

I hear ya. I was so disappointed today that I could have cried. The sky got all overcast off to the SW, breeze picked up, it felt like rain. I checked the radar and saw a big area of pretty reds & yellows moving our way, and was so relieved. But, alas, as the rain moved in it broke up and we never saw a drop : ( I really miss rain.

Hi Everyone, We are Still getting pounded every afternoon / evening, alot of thunder and lightening. Then is so hot and humid you can hardly breath outside. I am trying really hard to send it to those of you who need it. I've lost all my lilly's from all the drowing rain. I dug down the other day and all the roots are sitting in puddles and the grouind is so soaked there is nowhere for the water to go. My 6 yr.old neice said to me the other day. Shersher(thats what she call me) " ITS SO HOT!!! I WISH GOD WOULD HAVE MADE THE WORLD SO WE COULD TURN THE HEAT UP OR DOWN AND MAKE IT HOW WE WANT IT!!! I WOULD MAKE IT COOLER, I AM SWEATING OUT HERE.."
Wishing all of you a good rain.

RE: Wanted Rain

5 years ago we had a dry spell from the 1st of july till the middle of augest. We had blueberries that looked like tiny raisens and the price trippled that year for anyone with irrigation or wet ground. I had an big escivator dig my pond (100 x 100) 10' deeper, bought 1500' of 1.25" black plastic pipe,50 rainbird sprinklers, 2 1hp deep well pumps. Also ball valves ,t fittings and couplers. I cut the pipe, put enough of it together so that would be only a 2 day job to set up. I haven't needed it, since I didn't have it. Am I sorry? No I considered it a 5000.00 rain dance that worked.
