RE: desperately. wanted dictamus gas plant

I wish I could help you out, but I'm just getting a few started myself. I had also posted on here a few years ago asking for Dictamnus albus/fraxinella plants but had no luck finding any. If nobody responds to your post, you might do like I did and buy some. Maybe other websites have them but I got mine from Rose Franklin's Perennials. It looks like she still has some unless she didn't get a chance to update it. They're $5 each, and the shipping isn't overpriced either. I don't mean to sound like a commercial for the site, but I ordered from there several times and was happy with my purchases. I'm including a link to that specific page; just scroll down a little bit. If she's out of plants, I'd definitely get my order in early in the spring so you don't miss out. Perhaps you'll get lucky and find the plants another way, but I know that I didn't. I don't think a lot of people have the plant and I don't know why; the flowers in pictures online look very pretty. I actually want the plants to feed my Giant Swallowtail caterpillars. I raise all different kinds of butterflies and hang out on the GardenWeb butterfly forum. :)
